| Whether it’s the neighbour’s leylandii hedge or abandoned shopping trolleys, getting through to the right person often makes it less likely for most of us to complain. But a new leaflet delivered to every home in West Berkshire this week seeks to set that straight.
The Antisocial Behaviour Directory for Residents explains how to deal with the maze of nuisances covered by antisocial behaviour laws. The leaflet by Thames Valley Police, Newbury Primary Care Trust, Sovereign Housing Association and West Berkshire Council folds out into an easy guide to who to ring for each specific problem, from litter louts and flytippers to graffiti and discarded syringes.
The leaflet is being delivered free across the district, attached to wheelie bins along with details of the Refuse and Recycling collection arrangements for Christmas and the New Year. |
