| Grainger Trust is the favourite to win the battle to build 200 flats around a plaza for West Berkshire Council’s Market Street proposals – newbury.net can reveal.
Developers David Wilson Homes, Grainger Trust, and Miller Homes have all been shortlisted with Redrow, but the Tory cabinet will choose their favourite tonight.
Seven others have been dropped including Bellway, Cala, Kier Group, Linden Homes, Revurban, Taylor Woodrow, and Westbury.
An internal panel scored Grainger on 73%, Redrow 68%, Miller 65%, and David Wilson 64%. |
