Calling all music lovers! June 11th is the opening night for Idle Words Jazz Lounge, upstairs at the Square Restaurant, Newbury.

You have heard them at Newbury Unplugged, at Newbury Racecourse and at the Crafty Craft Race. Now come and join them on their newest venture. The Square’s upstairs lounge bar is the perfect sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere to unwind and enjoy the start of the weekend.

With Tom Medhurst on guitar and Jenifer Klepfer on vocals, Idle Words, hopes to beguile you with its rendition of jazz from the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Before dinner, after dinner, or for the whole evening, we hope to see you there!
